Promoting Safe And Stable Families

Our Mission is to "empower people to better health." We do this by providing a complete, family-centered support system, working with community resources that can address the health, emotional, social, and academic needs of children and their families.


IHA's La Habra Family Resource Center is located on the west side of the Las Lomas Elementary School grounds, 301 W. Las Lomas Drive, La Habra. The Institute for Healthcare Advancement (IHA), a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) foundation, operates the La Habra Family Resource Center. IHA provides direct healthcare delivery in our pediatric medical and dental community clinic, Friends of Children Health Center. IHA has a nationally renowned program in health literacy, including our easy to read self help health book series, What To Do For Health, and our annual Health Literacy Conference for healthcare professionals.
